How CollectAK handles the financial and communication data you connect — in plain English.
This policy explains how CollectAK handles information when you connect a business account (such as Xero, QuickBooks, Gmail, Outlook, Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp) so CollectAK can surface unfinished money and commercial opportunities across your business.
You authorise each connection through that provider's own sign-in and consent screen. CollectAK never asks for, sees, or stores your account password.
For accounting connections we read records such as invoices and payments. For messaging and social connections we read the conversations and comments you have authorised, to identify buying intent, follow-ups and payment discussions. We only request the minimum access each connection needs.
The access tokens a connection gives us are encrypted before they are ever stored — never held as plain text. Business content we process is encrypted at rest with the same discipline.
Each customer's data is isolated to their own workspace. A connection only ever resolves to the workspace that authorised it; it is never shared across customers.
CollectAK uses AI to interpret your connected records — for example, to judge whether a message is a genuine commercial opportunity. This is used only to answer your own question about your own business.
Your data is not used to train any AI model.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not compile it into profiles for third parties. We do not expose raw data, internal identifiers or system logs to you or anyone else.
You can disconnect any connection at any time. Disconnecting removes CollectAK's stored credentials for that source and stops further access.
You can request deletion of your workspace and its stored data by contacting us.
For any privacy question, or to request data deletion, contact us through the Contact page at collectak.com/contact.
